Ian von Memerty and his family will be performing at the Vodacom Amphitheater on 15 June 2012.
The show is a dazzling, full length, gorgeously costumed show featuring Ian, Viv, his latin and ballroom champion wife and their two children, Oscar 13, and Kasvia , 8.
Ian gives a ‘wry, funny’ account of his relationships – with the piano (38 years), with Viv (19 years), with parenthood (16 years), and Showbusiness (25 years).
All proceeds from this show will be going to Echo Foundation’s Munro Kirk Frail Care.

On Tuesday, May 15, 2012 Port Elizabeth will be visited by Brigham Young University’s Young Ambassadors.
Hailing from one of the largest private universities in the United States, this renowned performing group presents Harmony: The Music of Life, a performance laden with stunning costumes, captivating choreography and delightful music from beloved Broadway and radio tunes. Some favorites that will be featured include songs from “Hairspray”, “Dreamgirls”, “Carousel”, and the “Prince of Egypt” in addition to the YA renditions of hits from Miley Cyrus, Benny Goodman and Michael Bublé. To bring each number to life, the Young Ambassadors will be accompanied by a live 10-piece band.

Back by popular demand, TwoTone Music’s sexy, suave pack of tuxedo-clad entertainers hits the stage again on 25 May.
Led by director Ulagh Williams on piano, the cast features some of the Bay’s top showmen. The vibrant live brass section ‘The Bandstand Boys’ once again rounds out the pack as Michael Buble meets the Rat Pack and everyone in between. Audience members are invited to bring snack baskets and make use of the on-site bar. Seating is restaurant style and unreserved. As always, the dance floor will stay open until late and patrons can expect a party with a difference as old school charm meets modern showmanship!

This live concert features no less than four international megastars namely Shaggy, Neyo, Ludacris and Protoje, in possibly the most high profile concert yet hosted in the region.
A star-studded line-up of homegrown artists including South African chart topping Mi Casa and already internationally acclaimed Bucie will perform live in concert alongside several international megastars at the annual M Bay Megafest at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday 2 June, 2012.
The South Africa music industry is represented by a cross spectrum of artists and genres.

Wat die hart van vol is 2: ‘n Kabaret
Wat die Hart van vol is 2 bring weer ‘n vars kykie op hoe die liefde die wêreld laat draai wanneer dié kabaret van 31 Mei tot 2 Junie vanjaar by die PEMADS Little Theatre in Sentraal op die planke gebring word.
Onder die regie van Riaan Hanekom en Marelize Booyens, sing, vertel én dans Wat die hart van vol is 2 oud en jonk na ‘n tyd en plek waar die liefde lê. Of mense nou pasgetroud is, besig is om saam oud te word, of bloot die opwinding van ‘n nuwe liefde vir iemand koester, dié kabaret is vir jóú geskryf.
Hanekom, wat ook verantwoordelik was vir die eerste Wat die Hart van vol is, het gesê wanneer dit by die liefde kom kan mens nooit uitgepraat raak nie. “Omdat daar so baie mooi musiek oor die liefde in Afrikaans is, was dit ‘n uitdaging om te besluit watter liedjies eindelik bestaansreg in die kabaret moes kry”. Volgens hom is die aanslag van die stuk lekker gemaklik en sal oud en jonk dit kan geniet.
Lilian Zeelie een van Port Elizabeth se top plaaslike musikante (klavier), Andrew Warneke (baskitaar), Devon van Rooyen (tromme), Wayne Simpson (akoestiese kitaar) en Stephen Hurter (elektriese kitaar) sal kykers betower met musiek van immergroen-kunstenaars soos André Swiegers, Riana Nel en Jak de Priester. Die sangtalent van Alida Senekal, Jolandi van der Westhuizen, Michael de Lange, Kyle du Preez en Riaan Hanekom sal dié musiek-extravaganza verder lewe gee. Roché Merrick en Lerato Mangoejane sal ook die gehoor met hulle danspassies betower.
Die teks van Wat die hart van vol is 2 spog met Baaise digkuns en dialoog uit die penne van Alvené Appollis en Anna Pauw. Pauw se debuutbundel, Kasgedigte vir Vleesbaai, sal vir die eerste keer by dié vertonings te koop wees. Pauw het gesê, aangesien daar van haar gedigte – wat sy as terloopse gedagtes bestempel – in die dialoog gebruik word, skep dit die ideale geleentheid vir mense om die bundel te koop voor dit later vanjaar amptelik geloods word.
