On my way home two days ago I had Algoa FM on in the car. Ace of Base “The Sign”, came on the air and it really took me back. In my mind all the popular songs from that era started playing. Twenty 4 Seven’s “Is it Love” and “Slave to the Music”. 2 Unlimited – No Limit and Technotronic’s Pump up the Jam… awesome times. Which did you like?

The festive season is here and we are all thinking of what to get each other for Christmas. Like last year this is probably again a lean year and we need to be creative with gifts instead of buying expensive ones.

What will you be doing for gifts this year? I am not quite sure myself, but it will happen next week when the shops are going to be crazy busy… not looking forward to that. Unfortunately we never listen when people say: “Buy your gifts during the year”. That never happens and you end up having to buy everything in the last week before Christmas.

I am very much looking forward to the Christmas lunch which seems to last for a week…
