In celebration of Heritage month, The Boardwalk will be hosting a delectable food and dance festival on two selected days this September.
“We are encouraging guests to head down to the retail area and experience exotic dishes from around the world at each participating restaurant,” says Boardwalk Retail Guest Relations Officer, Caley Phillips.
For just R10 per sample dish, guests can taste the tang of Greek tzatziki in a beef or chicken shawarma at El Greco or indulge in some Indian chillibites, samoosa’s and chicken curry at Indian Cuisine. No meal is complete without desert, and what better way to end an evening of entertainment than with a mouth-watering panacotta at Café Dulcé. Each sample dish also comes with a complimentary glass of wine at selected restaurants.
“There are loads of other incredible dishes on offer,” says Phillips. “Ten of our restaurants are participating in the food festival, and the chefs are all working hard at preparing some delicious sample dishes for hungry guests.”
There will also be live entertainment throughout the evening featuring Indian, Greek and Italian dancers.
“This event is for everyone,” says Phillips. “From food fundi’s to people who just enjoy experiencing different tastes and are looking for a great evening of entertainment.”
The food and dance festival runs from Thursday, September 09 to Friday, September 10 from 19h00 to 22h00. Each sample dish is R10 and comes with a complimentary glass of wine at selected restaurants.
