Personalised Biscuit

A delicious, crispy, large heart biscuit with a message of your choice in icing, gift wrapped in a white box, hugged by a red balloon and red ribbon. If you would like it delivered on Valentines Day it will cost you R60, or you may collect it personally from the shop for R35

Decadent 4

A decadent box of four mouthwatering cupcakes decorated with lots of love, wrapped with a red ribbon and your love secured with a red balloon. If you would like it delivered on Valentines Day it will cost you R95, or you may collect it personally from the shop for R70.

The Boardwalk Construction Update

Temporary closure of the Action Bar won’t stop the fun at Boardwalk!

Development at The Boardwalk Casino and Entertainment World reached the halfway mark with the opening of the brand new smoking casino in December 2011.

The next phase of the extensive development plan kicked off with the temporary closure of the popular Boardwalk Action Bar on Sunday, 15 January. The venue will be closed for the next six months while it undergoes a complete revamp. When it reopens in June, visitors will be greeted by a fresh, new-look and feel in the Action Bar and an exciting entertainment line up.

However, while the construction team work on the venue, regular patrons of this popular entertainment facility will still be catered for. They will be able to watch all major sport matches on a big screen in the Vodacom Amphitheatre, and will be able to order drinks from the fully equipped bar.

The Amphitheatre will also host a number of exciting South African artists and acts during 2012 from comedians, to well known musicians from a number of genres. First up on 17 February is Afrikaans singer Kurt Darren.

The equally popular Thursday night Karaoke sessions with John V will in future be held at The Lighthouses Bowling Centre from Thursday, 19 January at 20h30. As always, this fun evening allows participants to test their vocal ability with a long list of well loved songs to choose from.

The Boardwalk has always been a fervent supporter of local talent and live shows will continue to take place in the retail area, with performances every Saturday evening from 18h00 to 21h00 and on Sunday afternoons from 13h00 to 16h00. This entertainment showcase offers talented home-grown artists an opportunity to display their skill and talents.

And to escape the heat of summer, there is no cooler place to be than in one of the restaurants in the retail area, overlooking the lake while sipping cocktails.

During 2012, The Boardwalk will be the place to be for the very best entertainment mix in Port Elizabeth.

Relaunch Malabar Diabetic Support Group

The Malabar Diabetic Support Group will be Relaunched on Tuesday 14th February 2012 at the Malabar Community Centre Minor Hall, commencing at 7.00pm.

The Speaker will be Barbara Foot, a Diabetic Educator who will talk on ‘Diabetic Myths and Facts’.
