The Savoy Theatre will rock to the sounds of Simon and Garfunkel when Vintage Productions present their musical tribute to Simon & Garfunkel for three performances from 21st to 23rd February 2012.
Hailing from Mpumalanga, guitarist and vocalist Aaron Nel, grew up with the music of Simon & Garfunkel constantly playing in his childhood home. Along with fellow vocalist Shanthan Pillay who has performed at the Dockyard, Heritage and Barnyard theatres this duo creates a unique harmony, achieved only by two musicians who have the same level of appreciation for the sheer brilliance, yet simplicity that is Simon & Garfunkel.
Memoirs: Simon & Garfunkel brings us hit song such as “Bridge over Troubled Water”, “The Boxer”, “Sound Of Silence”, “America”, and many other foot-stomping, hand clapping, sing-along hits, as well as some of the more dramatic and poetic offerings from this duo, and is sure to entertain all who attend.
Energetic! Dramatic! Poetic! Visually, and especially audibly entertaining stuff!
