The cast of the hilarious Afrikaans farce, Pille en Brille, aims to have Port Elizabeth audiences in stitches of laughter when they perform on Saturday, 3 March at The Boardwalk Vodacom Amphitheatre.
Written by Henk Pretorius, well known for his Bakgat films, the play centres around two old ladies in a retirement centre. Things become complicated when a retired doctor moves in and they begin to compete for his attention. Marga van Rooy, better known as Ella in Kyknet’s Mollie en Wors, directs and performs in the show. She is joined on stage by Yvonne Schoeman and Deon Vermaak.
The show recently played to packed audiences at the 2011 Aardklop festival where it received favourable reviews. The curtain rises at 20h00 and tickets are available from Computicket and cost R80
